DERBY COUNTY CRICKET CLUB

I worked with key stakeholders from Central Co-op and Derbyshire County Cricket Club to develop the creative identity for a new five-year partnership. As lead creative, I rolled out the visual direction across signage, perimeter boards and digital screens. The campaign launched during the televised England Women vs West Indies match, giving Central Co‑op its first global brand exposure.

COMING TOGETHER

By integrating the established Central Co-op handclasp identity with Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s distinctive colour palette complemented by Central Co‑op’s spring green we created a bold and cohesive graphic that visually represents the partnership, while highlighting both organisations’ shared commitment to co‑operation and community engagement.

SIGNAGE

Using developed partnership identity, I successfully rolled out the design on to multiple channels, supporting both Central Co‑op in their sponsorship of Derbyshire County Cricket Club. The identity was across various touchpoints, including in-ground signage, branded content and print materials. This helped communicate key information to supporters and visitors, ranging from matchday messaging and promotional offers to community initiatives, while ensuring a unified and engaging brand presence throughout the cricket season.

DIGITAL

A key element of the partnership launch was the digital screen content displayed throughout the cricket ground, including the Jumbotron and LED perimeter boards. These high-impact visuals were designed to capture attention and introduce the new identity to spectators on launch day. Below are examples of how the screens looked in use.
